Red Line Scenarios

Greetings to readers,

Currently I am working on a manuscript dealing with the willingness to kill, and specifically the willingness to use nuclear weapons.  Any references on these subjects will be most appreciated.

Nuclear Disarmament Day

The first nuclear Disarmament Day was observed on Wednesday August 6 in Burlington, Vermont.

At a noon ceremony at the Burlington City Hall Park the Mayor's Proclamation was read, designating the day.

WILPF, Burlington chapter,Women's International League for Peace and Freedom, initiated the event and Mayor Bob Kiss, who is a Mayor for Peace, proclaimed the day on the 63 anniversary of the bombing of Hiroshima.

Hiroshima, Nagasaki, USA Terrorism and JC: Part 1

"We live in a world of nuclear giants and ethical infants, in a world that has achieved brilliance without wisdom, power without conscience. We have solved the mystery of the atom and forgotten the lessons of the Sermon on The Mount. We know more about war than we know about peace, more about dying than we know about living."-General Omar Nelson Bradley, Armistice Day, 1948
